The cottage is constructed of ashlar Doulting stone with a Welsh slate roof, featuring coped gables and end chimney stacks of ashlar stone. It is a two-storey, two-window building with a central entrance beneath an ashlar stone and Welsh slate roofed gable porch. The entrance is defined by a four-centred chamfered stone arch which incorporates an incised date stone above. There are two-light, moulded stone-framed windows, each with eight panes.
