Description

No. 4 Chapel Row is a cottage dating from the mid-17th century. It is constructed of roughly coursed random rubble Doulting stone and features a double Roman clay tile gabled roof, which it shares with No. 3 Chapel Row. The cottage has a brick chimney stack on the right side and a two-storey front with a single window. The entrance door, located on the left, is hard-board faced and set within a bead moulded stone frame. On the ground floor, there are three light, two pane 19th century casement windows in a square chamfered and moulded stone mullioned frame. The first floor has a similar two-light window.
