Description

No. 2 Chapel Row is a cottage dated 1697, constructed from roughly coursed rubble Doulting stone. It features a double Roman clay tile gabled roof with plain verges and brick end chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window front with a central entrance. The door is a plain 19th-century vertical boarded and framed design, with a date stone positioned above it. The windows are three-light, two-pane 19th-century casements set in moulded stone mullioned frames, complete with stopped dripmoulds above.
