Description
Bow Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage constructed from coursed rubble Doulting stone, topped with a Welsh slate coped gable roof featuring end chimney stacks. The left-hand chimney has four octagonal flues, while the right-hand chimney has been reduced in height and capped. The building stands two to three storeys tall, with variations in floor levels. It has a three-window front and a central entrance that is accessed by three steps. The entrance features a six-panel door set deep within stone reveals, surrounded by an edge-moulded hood supported by carved brackets. The windows are generally 16-pane sash windows set in stone surrounds. The central window on the first floor has a chamfered surround and a drip moulding, although it is now blocked. To the right, there is an 8-pane horizontal sash window.
