Description

Roadside is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar Doulting stone and features a first floor string course. The roof is gabled and made of Welsh slate, with an ashlar stone chimney stack at one end. The building is two stories high and has a single window front, with the entrance located on the right side. The entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed, and is topped by a flat stone hood slab that is edge moulded and supported by carved brackets. The house also has 20-pane sash windows.
