Description

No. 5 Chapel Row is a cottage dating from the mid-17th century. It is constructed of roughly coursed random rubble Doulting stone and has a stone slate gabled roof that it shares with No. 6 Chapel Row. A brick chimney stack is located on the right side of the building. The cottage is two storeys high and features a two-window front with a central entrance. The entrance consists of a six-panel door set in a chamfered stone frame. The windows are two- and three-light casements with glazing bars, set in chamfered and chamfer-moulded stone mullion frames.
