Description

BABCARY CP CHURCH STREET (West side) ST52NE 3/10 Overton monument in churchyard, - about 5 m south of chancel, Church of the Holy Cross GV II Chest tomb. Early or mid C17. Doulting stone. Heavy moulded plinth on step; plain flanks and ends: deep cyma-recta coving to flat top. Commemorates William Overton, gentleman, died 1626, and Frances his wife, died 1652.
