BRUTON CP STATION ROAD (West side) ST6834NW 8/185 Unknown Chest Tomb, in churchyard about 23 metres West North West of West Tower, Church of Saint Mary GV II
Chest tomb. C17. Doulting stone. Base buried; plain sides and flanks; deep top mould between plain corner pilasters, with lozenge ornament surviving on North side; thick cornice moulding to flat top. North inscription mostly lost, but date might be 1603.
