Description

This chest tomb, dating from the 18th century, is located in the churchyard, 25 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Michael. It is constructed from dressed Doulting stone and features panelled ends and sides that are divided by pilaster strips. The corners are accentuated with pilasters, and there is a string course along the top, which has an oversailing hipped and moulded design. The inscription on the tomb is illegible.
