Description
Bourne House is an 18th-century house located in Stoke St Michael. It is constructed of Doulting rubble with dressed quoins, topped by a 20th-century pantile roof which is hipped to the left, with a coped verge and a modern chimney. The house has two storeys and two bays, featuring mullioned windows of 2, 3, and 4 lights. The first-floor windows have hollow-chamfered mullions, while the ovolo-moulded mullion window on the right side of the ground floor has a deeply chamfered opening. A central doorway leads to a 20th-century gabled porch with a slated roof and a half-glazed door. Mullioned windows are also present at the rear.
