Description

Stoke Mill is a corn mill dating to circa 1700. It is constructed of Doulting rubble with dressed quoins, partially rendered, and has a 20th-century pantile roof with coped verges. The building is arranged in an "L" shape, with the main facade facing the rear. The two-storey, four-bay main block features late 20th-century casement windows, with the exception of two-light mullioned windows with bead moulding in the fourth bay. There are three doorways with plain stone architraves and late 20th-century doors. A three-storey gabled wing projects from the right side, topped with a finial and featuring a two-light mullioned window in the gable. A semi-circular archway is present on the left return. Inside, remnants of the original mill wheel and grinding machinery remain.
