Description

The war memorial, located on the roadside to the west of the Sedgemoor Inn, dates from around 1920. It features a concrete plinth with panelling and is topped with a metal shell-case, which is a First World War artifact. The front of the memorial has an incised brass plaque. This monument is noted for its unusual and broodingly eloquent design.
