Description
No 20 Weston is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Fore Street in Westonzoyland. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features wide bracketed eaves that support a good cast-iron troughing adorned with iron masks. The house has coped verges, brick stacks, and a bitumenised slate roof.
The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade with two bays on the left that are slightly set back and three bays on the right. It includes 16-pane sash windows with painted brick voussoirs, except for a 12-pane sash window located to the left on the first floor. The door opening is situated to the left and features a four-panelled door with a fanlight that has ornamental glazing bars. A decorative trellis porch with a flat lead roof sits on a brick plinth. Additionally, there is a secondary blocked door opening in the centre of the right three bays, which has a semi-circular head.
