Description
The wall bounding the roadside at Weston Court Farm dates from the 18th century, although it may include earlier materials. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble and stretches approximately 70 meters in length, with a height that varies between 2 and 3 meters. The wall features some rubble capping and freestone capping at the western end, along with five sloping buttresses on the roadside, some of which are in a ruinous condition. There is a gateway with plank gates at the west end. A short section of the wall with cement capping returns to the adjacent barn in the farmyard. This wall is primarily noted for its group value with the barn in the farmyard and the Church of St Mary the Virgin.
