Description
The former coach house and stable, located about 20 metres south of Wigborough Manor House, is an 18th-century structure now used as a garden store. It is constructed from Ham stone that has been cut and squared, featuring a double Roman clay tiled roof with stepped coped gables and a shallow pitch. The building is single-storey and consists of three bays. On the east side, there are plain doorways for each bay, with the third bay having a tall double doorway. The west side includes an early pattern two-light casement window with shutters and two additional doorways, along with two quatrefoil panels positioned above the southernmost door. The ceiling is plastered, and the roof frame is not visible. This building has group value with Wigborough Manor House and is part of an important farm complex.
