Description
Yeabridge Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from cut and squared ham stone with ashlar dressings. The roof features double Roman concrete tiles between high coped gables, indicating it may have originally had thatch. There are brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays.
The windows are hollow-chamfered mullioned types set in chamfered recesses with labels, although 20th-century plain casements have been inserted. In the second bay on the lower level, there is a boarded door topped by a rectangular fanlight, which is sheltered by a plain stone hood supported by simple side pilasters. On the east gable, there is a lean-to, while the west gable features 20th-century windows with reconstructed stone surrounds. The north elevation displays a variety of windows, some of which have altered openings. The interior has not been seen.
