Description
Daniels Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from around 1700. It is constructed of cut and squared ham stone with ashlar dressings, and features a double Roman clay tiled roof with high stepped coped gables that suggest it may have originally had thatch. The building has brick chimney stacks at each end and is two storeys high with three bays.
The outer bays on both levels have three-light hollow-chamfered mullioned windows that include internal iron bars and some iron-framed opening lights, with labels above the lower windows. The upper bay has a two-light ovolo-moulded mullioned window, while below it is a chamfered cambered-arched doorway without a label, which frames a 20th-century boarded door. There are also 20th-century casement windows in the east and west gables, as well as an outshut at part of the rear. The interior has not been seen.
