Description

The outbuilding to the east of Manor House is a stable-coach house and byre, with accommodation for a groom, dating from the early to mid-18th century and featuring numerous alterations. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and has a pantiled roof. The building is long and narrow, consisting of one storey, although the west end originally had two storeys that included living quarters and a hayloft above.

The west end has a stone plinth and quoins, with a boarded door set in a stone surround. There are two plain 20th-century casement windows and a large five-light 20th-century window to the right. The left bay is a lower outhouse with a felted roof and a blocked window beneath a gauged brick arch. The roof is hipped on the right side and features stone ridges.

The long right return facing the road is mostly hidden by bushes but includes two Yorkshire sash windows, while the five-bay left return at the rear is very irregular, with various doors and windows, some set in alternate-block surrounds and others beneath flat brick arches. The right end of the building projects to form an 'L' shape, with a stone pier at the east corner. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the Manor House.
