Description

The gazebo located to the northwest of Ayton Hall is an early 18th-century structure made of brick with a pantiled roof and stone trim. It is a small square building featuring a six-panel door with a small side light, accessed by a flight of stone steps that includes two semi-circular bottom steps and a ramped wall on the north side. The gazebo has a stepped brick eaves cornice and prominent moulded diagonal kneelers. Its roof is swept pyramidal, adorned with angle copings and a ball finial. There is an 8-pane sash window on the west front, while the north and east fronts are blank.
