GREAT AYTON LOW GREEN NZ 5510 28/3/1 No 7 (formerly listed as No 8) 23.6.66 II

House. 1730 dated on door lintel with BAXTER THOMAS and ELIZABETH. Two builds, the right part probably an early C19 addition. Coursed squared stone, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays, slightly irregular. House part has central C20 door and replaced sash windows with glazing bars, those on ground floor with keyed lintels. At right a full-height round-arched wagon entrance. At left rear a wing to the original house, has similar openings, replacement sashes. Marked on OS map as No 7.
