Description
This is a house, likely built in the early 19th century, and later divided into two separate dwellings. The building is constructed from coursed, squared, and tooled stone, with a modern roof of clay pantiles. Original stone features remain, along with brick chimneys. The main part of the building is two storeys high, with two windows. Attached to the left is a lower two-storey, L-shaped extension, formerly part of number 27. The front has Victorian six-panel doors; the door to number 27 has an overlight. The windows are later sash windows with glazing bars set in wooden architraves. The left extension features Yorkshire sliding sashes with glazing bars, a part-glazed door, and a small pentice. The right end of the roof has stone coping and kneeler details, and there are end chimneys. A one-storey extension to the right side of number 25 is not considered to be of architectural interest.
