Description
Crown Cottage and Marwood Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the mid to late 18th century. They are built of local pinkish brick and feature a pantiled roof with stone trim and brick stacks. Marwood Cottage is painted. The cottages are two storeys high, with three bays each. They have four-panel doors with overlights and Yorkshire sash windows, which are of a later date, with glazing bars on the ground floor. The cottages also have projecting end stacks.
