Description

The wall, gates, piers, and fences enclose the churchyard of All Saints Church, likely dating to the 18th century. The wall has a roughly rectangular plan and extends at the north-east corner, surrounding the old churchyard. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with a sloped coping. At the south-east corner are double and single wooden gates set into monolith stone, plain piers, with lengths of wooden fence on either side. A plaque is affixed to the fence to the west of the gate, commemorating Captain James Cook, noting that the churchyard contains the grave of his mother and several of his siblings.
