Description
The former coach house and stable block at The Old Rectory is an early to mid-19th century building that incorporates an 18th-century garden wall made of red brick at the rear. The structure features whitewashed weatherboard, brick, and roughcast with old tile roofs. It has an E-plan layout and is one storey high with eight bays. The projecting end bays have hipped roofs, with the left bay also containing a garage entry. The two central bays are projecting and gabled, featuring stable doors with segmental radiating fanlights, small single lights, and a hayloft door above. The remaining bays are irregular, containing stable or board doors, one of which has a rectangular barred fanlight, and paired 19th-century wooden casements. This building is included for its group value.
