Description

The waggon shed, likely from the 18th century, is located about 20 metres south west of Bow Mill House. It is constructed from ham stone rubble with ashlar dressings and features an undulating clay tile roof. The building is single-storey with three bays, supported by a collar-and-tie trussed roof that has diagonal bracing in the centre bay. The end gables are open, with weatherboarding above the eaves. On the south side, there is a lean-to with a catslide roof, adjacent to a 19th-century building made of cut and squared stone, which has a hipped Welsh slate roof, a simple doorway, and two casement windows on its south side. The interior has not been seen. This structure is part of an historic mill site.
