Description
The structure consists of two outhouses, likely a former coachhouse and store for No. 22, dating from the 18th century. They are built from rubblestone and brick, topped with a corrugated-iron roof, and both have rectangular plans. The front building is simple and gabled, currently serving as a garage, and is attached to a two-storey building at the rear. This rear building features timber lintels over a wide opening on the ground floor to the right and a central loading bay on the first floor. A tall single-light window from the 19th century has been added to the left side, and the apex of the gable is made of 19th-century brick. Inside, there are 18th-century joists and wide elm planks on the floor. A rubblestone retaining wall to the right shows traces of a former window. The site is bordered by a painted rubblestone wall with rounded stone capping, approximately 1 meter high and 20 meters long. No. 22 was previously a shop, and these outbuildings may have been used in connection with it. The buildings are included for their group value.
