Description
The outbuildings adjacent to No. 8 are early 18th-century structures that were formerly used as a dwelling. They are constructed of red brick with blue headers, set on an ironstone plinth, and feature a corrugated iron roof that likely replaced the original thatch. The buildings are two stories high and consist of three bays, with the left-hand bay being slightly taller and separated by a coped gable.
On the ground floor, there is a blocked door that has been converted into a window, alongside a two-light casement window that has a steep flat arched brick head. Above, there are two additional two-light casement windows, which have cambered brick heads that appear to be part of a heightening that occurred in the 19th century. The left-hand bay has had garage doors inserted at ground level, though the splayed brick head of a previous window remains visible. There is one upper two-light casement window and further evidence of the 19th-century heightening. A brick sill band is present in the right-hand bays, and the left-hand bay features a coped gable.
