Description
This is an outbuilding group located to the south of numbers 7 and 8 in Guyzance Village, dating from the 18th century and altered in the mid-19th century. The structure is built of rubble with some cut dressings and features pantile roofs. The north elevation is a single storey with three bays on the left and one bay on the right. The left section has boarded double doors, a boarded window to the left, and an old 12-pane casement window on the right. There is a slightly lower extension to the right that includes a stable door.
The left end has a 19th-century stack that is stepped with a chamfered cap. Both right end gables have raised reverse-stepped coping. The left return features a boarded window set in a tooled-and-margined surround. The rear part of the building shows three blacksmiths' windows, one of which is set in a blocked doorway with a timber lintel, along with a 4-pane casement window. A short wall extends south from the centre of the wall to connect with a gabled privy and pigsty, which are enclosed by low walls with roughly-arched coping and a renewed door on the right return. The left part also has a similar attached open midden and pigsty.
