Description
No. 6 in Guyzance Village is a cottage that was originally built in the 18th century and remodeled in the mid-19th century. It features squared tooled stone and has a Welsh slate roof, except for the western part which has pantiles. The ridge stack has been rebuilt in white brick on its original base. The cottage is a single storey with five bays. The doors have been renewed, and while one window has been blocked, the others have 20th-century glazing in the original openings. The left gable has 19th-century coping, while the right gable features older reverse-stepped coping. There are stepped stacks at both the left end and the ridge. The left side of the cottage shows a 4-pane attic casement, and the right side has a blocked attic window. This building is included for its group value.
