Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is a cottage that likely dates back to the 17th century and has been altered in the 20th century. It features painted roughcast over rubblestone and has a plain tile roof. The cottage has a one-unit plan with later additions at the front. It stands two storeys high and has a two-window range. To the right, there are 20th-century two-light casement windows, while to the left, there is a 19th-century lean-to entrance. Exposed former rafter ends near the top of the wall suggest that the roof has been raised. The interior has not been inspected.
