Description
The Old Malthouse, now a house, dates from the 18th century and was altered in the 19th century. It features painted render over rubblestone and has a half-hipped concrete tile roof with a brick stack on the rear left. The building likely has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The left side is symmetrical with a two-window range and outer pilasters, while the right end is blank except for a window on the right return. A 19th-century planked door sits under a segmental arch, flanked by 19th-century three-light casement windows and plain pilasters on both floors. The interior has not been inspected.
To the right of the main building, there is a high painted rubblestone wall with pantile coping, featuring segmental brick arches leading to a single planked door on the left and double doors on the right. The attached outhouse has a single-slope pantile roof. Additionally, there is a low painted rendered wall at the front left, which borders Nos 19 and 21.
