10/36 Barn, 5 metres South of Middle Halsway Farmhouse -

GV II

Barn. Perhaps C15, enlarged C18. Cob with random rubble addition, half hipped thatched roof. Three and a half bays cob and one bay random rubble at North end, double doors East and West, plank door North East corner with wooden latice above. Interior: 2 pairs of jointed crucks, yoked apex, tenoned collars resting on stone plinth about 500 mm high. C18 threshing floor and wooden partition where cob gable end removed.
