Description
Sunny Bank is a cottage dating from the 17th century that was re-roofed in the late 20th century. It features roughcast over cob, concrete tiles, and brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has a three-cell plan without a cross passage and is two storeys high with three bays. The first floor has 19th-century two-light casements, while the ground floor has three irregularly placed two-light casements to the left of the entrance and one 20th-century casement to the right, along with a plank door. At the rear, there is an outshot with a catslide roof. Inside, there are chamfered beams with stops in the room on the left, and the original stairs, likely located beside the fireplace, now rise directly opposite the front door. The room on the right features quarry tiles.
