Description

This barn, located approximately 8 meters south-west of Medlake Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed from cob and rubble, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn features opposing double doors that lead to the threshing floor and faces east. There are full-height double doors with a small monopitch hood positioned to the left of center, and a first-floor hayloft loading bay to the right. The roof is hipped at both ends and is supported by four oak A-frame trusses with pegged lap-jointed collars. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
