Description
This barn, located approximately 150 meters southeast of Woolsgrove Farmhouse, is likely from the 17th century. It is constructed of cob on rubble footings and has a corrugated iron roof, which was originally thatch. The barn faces east and features opposing doors leading to the threshing floor. There is a large central door flanked by short midstrey walls, with the roof extending over it to form a small porch. The roof is half-hipped at both ends and has a five-bay structure supported by oak A-frames with pegged lap-jointed collars. This barn is included in the listing for its group value.
