Cottage. C19 or earlier. Plastered cob on rubble footings and rear block of plastered rubble; rubble and brick stacks; wheat reed thatched roof. L-shaped building with 2-room main block facing south-east and rear block at right angles behind left (south-west) end. Main block has central stair plan and room to right has lateral stack projecting to rear, room to left with projecting end stack and rear block with outside lateral stack. Symmetrical 3-window front of C19 and C20 large pane casements; thatch eyebrows over small first floor windows. Central door with C20 slated monopitch hood. Inner side of rear block includes C19 small 2-light mullioned casement with 8 rectangular leaded panes per light at first floor. Plain carpentry detail inside.
