BRATTON SEYMOUR CP ST62NE HOLBROOK 4/41 Milestone at N6R ST 6839 2878 - II Milestone. C19. Ham stone pillar, cast iron plaque. Pillar 400 mm wide x 300 mm thick x 1 metre high, rounded top; plaque 375 mm wide x 400 mm high, having shouldered curved top and double cyma-recta base, and reads "Wincanton" - on curve - '2/Castle Cary/4'. This road was turnpiked by the Wincanton Trust in 1798.
