CHILKWELL STREET (north east Side) No 15

GV II Late C18/early C19. Two storeys. Painted roughcast. Pantile roof. Parapet. Stringcourse two windows. Sashes in plain reveals, thin glazing bars. Later rectangular bay on ground floor to right with dentilled cornice, five lights. Round-headed doorway to left. Semi-circular fanlight with tracery. Six-panel door.

Nos 3 and 5 form a group; also the listed buildings from No 3 to No 17 (on the north east side), Glastonbury Abbey (see Magdalene Street), Abbey House, Wall around grounds of the Abbey and Abbey House, all form an important group.
