Description

Bridge House is a late 18th-century building situated on Bridge Square. It is a two-story, single-bay structure with a tile hipped roof and a dentil eaves cornice. The front is of painted brick. The window arrangement has been altered; a two-light casement window is present above, while on the ground floor, there is a three-light casement window with small panes arranged in two tiers. A doorway with a segmental head leads into a modern annexe built onto the north side. The building is designated as Grade II for its group value alongside other buildings around Bridge Square, specifically those on Firgrove Hill (West Side), Red Lion Lane (North West Side), and numbers 57 and 59 Abbey Street.
