Description
Nos 2 and 4 Red Lion Lane are two 19th-century buildings that stand two storeys high, each with two bays, while No. 4 is wider. They feature a tile roof with a hip at the right-hand end and a brick front. No. 2 has intact windows with glazing bars and a four-panelled door located in the right-hand return wall. No. 4 includes a three-light window on the left side of the ground floor, a rounded doorway, and a six-panel door. As of 1971, the buildings are undergoing careful restoration. These listed buildings, along with others on Red Lion Lane, Bridge Square, Firgrove Hill, and Nos 57 and 59 Abbey Street, form a cohesive group.
