Description

The building at 2 Chilkwell Street is likely a 17th-century structure that has undergone alterations. It is a two-storey building constructed of stone, with a later colourwashed brick facade. The roof is covered with pantiles, and there are parapets to the gable ends, along with eaves. There are four windows with segmental heads and keystones. The windows have three-light wooden casements with limited glazing bars. One gable end features a two-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor. A four-panel door is positioned under a modern porch.
