Description
The coach house and garden wall adjacent to No. 21 (Clifford House) were built in 1820, as indicated by historical deeds. The coach house features a rubble construction with an ashlar facade and a hipped slate roof, presenting an austere appearance. It stands two storeys high and consists of one bay. The ground floor has broad paired plank doors beneath a wooden lintel, while a small hay-loft plank door is located on the first floor. At the rear, there is an exposed wooden staircase with open treads providing access to the first floor. The garden wall, located 5 meters to the east, extends 75 meters along the west side of Bath Road. It has feather-edged coping and includes two gateways with rubble piers, with the wall slightly ramped down at each end.
