GV II House. Mid C19. Painted roughcast with hipped slate roof to front with wide projecting eaves on brackets and tall brick stacks. U-shaped plan, right rear wing probably enlarged late C19. Two storeys, three window range; Painted stone classical-style porch; ground floor windows have original 6/6-pane sashes, first floor has late C19 horned 4/4-pane sashes.

INTERIOR: open-well stair with bracket ends, stick balusters and wreathed handrail and curtail step leading to landing with sash window in a Tudor-style arch, beside a round-arched niche in rear wall. Off-centre white marble fireplace in first floor left front room.

SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: rubblestone forecourt wall with ashlar coping
