Description
The monument to Edith Osbaldenton is a chest tomb located about 12 metres north of the chancel at the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Ditcheat. Dated 1812, it is made of dressed stone and features a slate panel on the west side. The tomb has a large plinth that includes the base of former railings, and it is adorned with a small chest that has fluted pilasters. Inscriptions can be found on three sides of the tomb. The top of the monument is gently hipped and has a moulded edge.
