Description

The Green and Greenways are two attached houses dating to the 18th and early 19th centuries. They are built of colourwashed brick and render, with pantiled, double-Roman, and slate roofs in three distinct sections, featuring copings to the verges and roof divisions. The houses have two storeys and a 2:1:2 bay arrangement. The right-hand two bays incorporate sash windows with glazing bars and stepped voussoirs. The left-hand bays have two-light casements with close-set glazing bars. There are two door openings, one with a panelled design and a single glazed panel, and a matching ornamental zinc porch with an ogee roof. The other door opening has an elaborate late 19th-century porch with half-glazing and a segmental slate roof, including stained glass.
