Description

Manor Lodge is a late 18th-century lodge located in Ditcheat village. It is constructed primarily of Flemish bond brickwork, with a hipped slate roof featuring wide bracketed eaves and brick stacks in a Gothic style. The two-storey building has a canted bay window to the front, and pointed-arch window openings on each face of each floor. These windows contain 20th-century casements with horizontal glazing bars. A pointed-arch door opening is located on the right return, leading to a flush-panelled door. The returns of the lodge feature some original "Y"-tracery.
