3/40 Former Reading Room, (previously listed as Reading Room) 11.3.68

Former reading room; now store. Late C18. Doulting and local limestone rubble, stone tile roof, coped verges, small brick stack, false lead gabled dormers. Plain classical style. 2-storeys, 6-bays; 18 pane sashes in moulded stone architraves on bull nosed sills to first floor, on ground floor 4 two light beam moulded stone mullioned windows; door opening between third and fourth bays, plank door. Right return has broad segmental headed opening, C20 plank doors, right return has sliding plank doors, again C20.
