Description

The Richards monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 10 metres east of the chancel of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the 18th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth on a step, with one fielded panel on each face and coffered panel pilasters on the flanks. There is no frieze, and it has a moulded hipped top with rounded leading edges. The monument commemorates members of the Richards family, including Mary Richards, who died in 1787.
