Description

The Richard monument is an early 19th-century chest tomb located about 17 metres northeast of the chancel of the Church of St Mewan. It is made of limestone and features a plain rectangular shape with reeded pilasters at each corner. The tomb has a flat top with a moulded edge, and there is an inscription carved on the top dedicated to Elizabeth Richard, although the date is illegible.
