Description
The Richard Minchin monument is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary, approximately 7 meters north-west of the porch. It commemorates Richard Minchin, who died in 1768, along with other family members. The tomb is made of limestone and features a moulded plinth. There is an inscription to Richard Minchin on a sunken plaque on the south side, with a similar inscription panel on the north side. The east and west sides have inscription panels with inset segmental heads, although the panel on the west is only partially legible. The tomb is topped with moulded capping and a pointed upper capping that includes a flame finial.
